New Group

This dialog box allows you to define the information for a new employee group. The dialog box appears when you select the New button in the Groups page.

Name - Enter a name for the group. The name should be meaningful in order to simplify the grouping of employees. For example, "Sales" or "Marketing" to describe employees who perform that specific type of job. "Office" could be used describe employees who work in an administrative capacity.


OK - Saves your changes and closes the dialog box. You are then returned to the Groups page where the new name is displayed (in the Groups list). You can then complete the remaining edit fields for the new group (remember to choose the Save button once you have done so).

Cancel - Cancels any changes and closes the dialog box.
