This screen is used to directly modify an employee's Earnings, Deductions, Benefits and Accumulators. The ability to directly modify these items is provided if you need to override one of the system default calculations.

Employees - This list displays the employees that are defined for this payroll. When an employee is selected, their information is displayed in the fields to the right of the list. If you cannot find a name or an employee number in this list, check to make sure you have the correct group entered in the "Group" field.

Select By Name - Select this radio button to display employees in the list based on their name.

Select By Employee No. - Select this radio button to display employees in the list based on their employee numbers.

Earnings - Choose this radio button to work with the selected employee's earnings. The table lists the earnings that are applied to the current employee. The first column displays Hours or units to be paid. The second column displays the extended amount (Rate multipied by Hours or Salary amount).

Deductions and Benefits - Choose this radio button to work with the selected employee's deductions and benefits. The table lists the earnings that are applied to the current employee. The first column displays the calculated deduction amount. The second column displays the calculated benefit amount.

Accumulators - Choose this radio button to work with the selected employee's accumulators. The table lists the earnings that are applied to the current employee. The first column displays the balance amount of the accumulator.


Save - This button allows you to save your changes.

Modify - This button allows you to edit the currently selected item. Selecting this button opens a different dialog box, depending on the item that is selected. Choose a link below to view specific help about the item you wish to modify.

Cancel - Cancels the changes and reloads the current values.

Help - Opens this help page.
