New Employee Dialog Box

The New Employee Information dialog box allows you to enter basic information about your new employee. This dialog box appears when you select the New button in the Employee Setup screen's Name & Address tab.

Select Employee Template - This list displays the employee templates that are defined for this payroll. Choose an employee template from this list if you wish to apply pre-defined settings to the new employee. See the Templates help topic for more information.

Last Name - Enter the surname of the new employee.

Given Name - Enter the given name of the new employee.

Employee Number - Enter a number for the new employee. This number must be unique within the current payroll and will be used to identify the employee in the payroll. You may wish to assign numbers based n an employee's role in the company (e.g. 001 through 049 for sales staff and 050 though 099 for administration, etc.).


OK - This button closes the dialog box and returns you to the Employee Setup screen so you can enter further details about the new ermployee.

Help - This button displays this help page.

Cancel - Cancels the addition and closes the dialog box.
